Crowd Bootstrap Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Crowd Bootstrap handles information submitted through the pitch-upload page. Crowd Bootstrap is an initiative of Privity Ventures, Inc. and The New Accra City Limited (TNAC).

Information we collect

When you submit a pitch, we collect the information you provide, including your name, company, email address, country, solution area, readiness, description, Ghana-fit explanation, website or deck link, required confirmations, and your video pitch.

How we use it

We use this information to receive, store, review, evaluate, and respond to pitch submissions; administer the Crowd Bootstrap program; improve the submission process; and, where you have given permission, prepare and publish selected pitches in the Crowd Bootstrap elevator-video format.

How we share it

Your original submission is reviewed privately by the Crowd Bootstrap team. We may share information with service providers that help us store submissions and send program communications, or with relevant program partners when that is necessary to evaluate an opportunity. We do not sell submitted pitch information. We will not publicly publish your pitch unless you have given the required publication permission.

Storage and retention

Original uploaded videos and the associated submission record are stored in a private review system. Original submissions are generally deleted after 180 days. If a pitch is selected for publication or further discussion, we may retain the information needed to manage that activity, consistent with the permissions you have given and applicable law.

Security

We use reasonable measures designed to protect submissions, including private storage for uploaded videos. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so please do not submit confidential, sensitive, or personal information that is not needed for your pitch.

Your choices

You may ask about, correct, or request deletion of information you submitted by contacting Crowd Bootstrap through the contact information available on this website. Some information may need to be retained for legitimate administrative, legal, or security reasons.

International processing and updates

Because Crowd Bootstrap works with entrepreneurs and partners in multiple countries, information may be processed where our team or service providers operate. We may update this notice as the program develops. The version posted here applies at the time of your submission.
